What you write seems perfectly plausible. The part of my message which
you quoted was taken verbatim from Bachman's essay on Fillmore. Perhaps
it was Huffine, and perhaps Fillmore changed it to Will Huff when he
published the pieces. Fillmore was associated with a publishing firm,
known then, and perhaps now as well, as EMB (Educational Music Bureau).
