On the contrary. If you went out and chose the instruments that played
best for you, you did exactly what you were supposed to do. I presume your
professional relationship with Buffet is based upon this satisfaction,
rather than the reverse. But I hear of too many students who are sent out
in search of a good R-13, RATHER THAN the best clarinet they can
find/afford. I find that attitude on the part of the teachers far too
limiting. The best clarinet they find may very well BE a Buffet R-13, but
give the other guys a chance! Did YOU try ONLY Buffets?
