Debi,
There have been literally hundreds of manufacturers of clarinets in
France (possibly thousands, but I'm too lazy to count them up in my
Langwills :). Most of those manufacturers have no serial number records
at all.

Check _real_ hard at an angle in a bright light. Possibly there are more
clues - maybe initials on the wood.. Without a manufacturer's name or
initials or at least a model name there's just about nothing to go on to
figure it out with any reasonable certainty.
