Investigations have gone both ways. Several folk cures did lead to major
pharmeceutical breakthroughs while others were finally proven to be nothing
but a fairy tale. Anecdotal (i.e. subjective) evidence can only act as in
incentive
for a properly conducted investigation. It can not PROVE anything.
