This is an outrageous statement. Just because you don't know what the
answers are doesn't mean there aren't any. Don't be ridiculous. This
sounds like some sort of creationist argument. There is absolutely no
reason that understanding the science behind something should diminish
the art of it. Unless, of course, what you're really wanting is magic
rather than truth.
