Actually the M-13 mouthpiece was designed to emulate and improve on the
characteristics of Montanaro's mouthpiece of many years which was given to
him by his teacher Jules Serpentini. I am reasonably sure it wasn't a
Kaspar. More likely a Chedeville. Serpentini played with the Philadelphia
Orchestra from 1920-1962 and was a terrific teacher. He studied with Bonade
as well as played with him. A wonderful man.
