Sorry, this analogy is inappropriate. Do I really have to explain why? The
only way this analogy works is to point out that if you want your new car in
a color slightly different that one of the pre-determined ones selected at
the factory, you have to take it to an aftermarket paint shop to have it
done. But why can't you just CHOOSE the exact color you want and expect the
factory to mix the paint for you?

Musicians are not logical people. We are looking for a precision instrument
to do the impossible, not a tool that gets us from point a to point b.
