This answer is the absolute antithesis of any scientific method. David
answers a question with a question and believes that he has given a
satisfactory riposte to Dee's very rational inquiry.

Notice the scientific value of the phrase "Doubt it big time." and the
absolute technical certainty of the conclusion,"I figure that Bonade
would have picked that one up."

So David answers questions with questions, doubts something big time and
makes an assumption about what Bonade would or would not have done. This
represents the level of response that one often gets when asking serious
questions about musical phenomena like "blowout." In the absence of
real data, one gets ca-ca doo-doo. So far, only Ed Lacy has posted things
of real value to this discussion. The rest of what I have read is
medieval and I really thought that witches sank. Perhaps I should concentrate
more on the wenn found on the chin as greater evidence than the water test.

And one wonders why some people have difficulty in accepting this sort
of thing as gospel.

David, what are you doing???
