Tim--

thea King has recorded approximately 13 albums/CDs for Hyperion Records that cover
a broad range of clarinet repertoire; much of it lesser known. Her recordings of
the Crusell Concertos (there are 3), originally released on two CDs, but later
re-mixed by Hyperion onto a single CD were the first recordings available, and
they set the standard.

Technically, she is a very fine player, but her tone is a very British sound that
may not be to the liking of most Americans, and to some extent, that includes me.
However, her technical prowess, musicality, etc. are very evident in a collection
of recordings that are a valuable contribution to all clarinetists.
