I have a funny, true, story to share.

Last week I went to my daughters high school to work
with the the drummers in the Jazz band. (there is a part about
the Clarinet, so please don't think that I'm trying to turn this
into a Drum list.). Tonight I went to see them perform
to find out if any of my pointers were actually used. To
my surprise some of them were, in fact, implemented.

After coming home I decided to play my drums, which
I have hardly touched since I began practicing Clarinet
again. I went though my collection of Jazz, funk, fussion, and
Buddy Rich flash and crash licks and then went to talk to my
wife. I asked her which she would prefer hearing, since I
haven't played my drums in a while. I fully expected her
to say, "the Clarinet". However, to my surprise, she said
the drums.

Lately I have been working on the altissimo range more
and apparently the piercing nature is more aggravating
then loud drums.

No particular point to make. Just thought I share that.
