Thank you for your email, you beat me to it. I couldn't agree more with you
I think dark also equals dull. I play in an orchestra with a clarinetist
who's sound could be described as the complete opposite of "dark". He uses 3
1/2 vandoren reeds and has the most beautiful, pure sound. It's truly a
pleasure to play with him. If anything that is more of the ideal sound that
I'm striving for. Janis C
