To all,

I was just thinking about the recent discussion on the Bassett Horn, and I was
reminded of the women who used to play Rosanna Anna Danna on Saturday Night
Live. (Her real name escapes me) Anyway, I remembered the commentator monologue
that she did, and I thought that if she did one on the Bassett Horn that it would go something
like the following

What do I think of Bassett Horns?

Well, let me tell you. They've got those big floppy ears that don't seem to do them
any good. You call them, and they don't move. Why have big ears if your not
going to listen with them.

And another thing, why do they just lay around all day doing nothing. I mean, what
purpose does this animal serve.

I will say they do have a cute pitiful look.

That's what I think of Basset Horns.

"Straight Man"- A Bassett Horn is a type of Clarinet used in Orchestras. It is a Musical Instrument not a dog.
