I have been told that the ones with the name printed in a circle were
made by Chedeville. I had one that had the Chedeville interlocking C's,
and I now own another one. The bores on both of these matched the bores
on some other Chedevilles that I've owned or measured, so
I suspect that this is probably true. However, the key comment you made
was that it plays well. Therefore, I wouldn't worry too much about who
made it. A good mouthpiece is a good mouthpiece, regardless of who made
it!
