Plugging a Sneezy Sponsor again -
Abe Galper has two method books out _and_ is a member of the Klarinet
list. While having an instructor watching you would be preferable to
anything else, why not give Abe's books a try and possibly contact Abe
via email if you have any questions? Abe's a heck of a nice guy (almost
as charming as his wife, Charna :^).

Check his books out at www.sneezy.org/avrahm_galper - his email address
is there, too.

Cheers,
