Content-Description: "cc:Mail Note Part"

I'll have to ask my clarinet teacher. I've been playing clarinet since the 6th
grade and now that I'm in college I've been taking clarinet lessons from Ms.
Kramer. She was the one that finally figured out that that was the reasonn I
was having so much trouble playing.

Here are the specs on the Selmers I measured at IMS a couple of months ago:

Selmer B: .92 Tip Selmer B*: 1.05 Tip
2 6
5 11
16 20
26 32

Selmer C*: 1.12 Tip Selmer 120 C85: 1.18 Tip
6 8
10 14
20 26
32/34 37

Selmer HS** Standard: 1.19 Tip
8
12
22
38/34

The Selmer HS* was not available at the time, but it is more closed than
the HS** with a much shorter curve schedule. The baffle is very shallow,
and the tip rails tend to be quite thin.

What does this all mean? Resistance will be greater (except for the tip
rails) and the sound production will be edgier yet with plenty of projection.
