Or you could say "Thank You All".

Or you could shout suddenly, "Hey, look over there!!"  and then slip out
the back door during the ensuing confusing, thereby avoiding the whole
problem.

Other phrases that will work are:
"Hey, there goes Bigfoot/A Yeti/Godzilla/King Kong/Toscanini!!"
"It's the ice cream truck!!"
"Hey look, we're on COPS!"
"My God, spontaneous human combustion!!"
and all together now---"There goes Elvis!!!!"
