I'm using a Morgan C mouthpiece on a Noblet C. It is not shorter. The
difference is in the bore. The bore is slightly larger. It lowers the
pitch of the usually sharp low A and B and raises the pitch of the altissimo
register. With this mouthpiece I only have to pull the barrel out about a
sixteenth of an inch to obtain a pitch of A@-----. This C mouthpiece really
made a difference.
