Really? I didn't know this. Is this information presented by Buffet?

I would never start a beginner on anything less than a standard barrel
with standard pitch. They don't have to have a developed embouchure to
play at pitch - just the right reed/mouthpiece setup and plenty of rest
between practice sessions. They have enough strength within 3 days to
play quite well in tune in the low register - which is where they should
remain for several months.
