This is the Winterthur fragment mentioned earlier by Tony Pay, and
you may see a facsimile of this manuscript in the NMA volume of
the Mozart concerto. The difficulty lies in the fact that it is
very sketchy and insufficient. It is, in fact, a sketch, not that
it has NO use. There is an important difference in the melody that
is now coming into more and more use, but many players either don't
like it (because it is different from what they know) or because
they continue to use older editions.

Bottom line: there is not enough of the Winterthur fragment to answer
all the questions that exist.
