You are probably right but finding a "true" C clarinet mouthpiece has not
been easy--at least not for me. Upon the recommendation of someone from this
list, I contacted Jerry Hall last fall; Jerry has so far not been able to
supply me with the mouthpiece. (Jerry, if you're reading this and lost my
phone # or whatever, please send email. I'm still interested.)

Meantime, though, Christopher Hill (christopherhill@-----.net) DID reface a
Bundy (believe it or not) Bb mouthpiece for me; with it, my Buffet C clarinet
plays well in tune.

Prior to using Chris' mouthpiece, I did find an old Noblet Bb mouthpiece that
was 1 mm or so shorter than most Bb mouthpieces. With it, my C clarinet
played in tune BUT it was REALLY tough on my jaw and very tiring to play on.
