I'll draw everybody into a SLIGHTLY different question.

I have been told that a barrel available from Robert Scott (?) would be an
excellent choice (amongst many), especially due to the price of Mr. Scott's
barrels. Where may I purchase this barrel ?

Second question, are the Chadash and Moennig barrels that one can buy from
the larger discount houses the SAME EXACT barrels that one would buy from
Mr. Chadash or Moennig ? ie Does Mr. Chadash sell a HIGHER quality barrel
if I were to purchase thru him directly?

On the issue of pronunciation: BOTH of you fellas agree as to the DASH ...
its the pronunciation of the 1st syllable (sp.). When I spoke to Mr. Chadash
some times back he pronounced his first syllable SOFTLY ... ie a soft CHA
... very soft gutteral ... as opposed to many who have the same name
pronouncing it with a hard gutteral. My mother pronounced the name
Weinstein ... wine-STEEN while my father pronounced it wine-STYNE. I have
been known to pronounce both ways. Maybe Mr. Chadash suffers the same
malady. Our only solution here is to obviously get a WAV from Mr. Chadash!
