Not that I know of - but a pdf file is not plaintext. You have to
execute Acrobat to read a pdf file. It's analogous to executing Word to
read a doc file.
Plaintext is safe. Anything else created on the client (mail reader)
side is suspect, especially in a public forum. That's why people should
not execute or open _anything_ other than straight text files on this
mailing list. I try to filter the possibly dangerous stuff out
automatically, but as evidenced a few days ago the automatic filtering
can be fooled occasionally.
