Subj: [kl] Cleveland Orchestra tickets
Date: Sun, 2 May 1999 22:54:54 -0400

Hello all, I have available two tickets in the dress circle at Carnegie
Hall to hear the Cleveland Orchestra, Saturday May 8. Program is Brahms
3rd Symphony, Bartok Bluebeard's Castle, the latter with English
supertitles. Given the extraordinary talents of first oboe John Mack,
English horn Felix Kraus and clarinettist Frank Cohen, the night will be
outstanding for clarinet and oboe fans. Oh, and Dohnanyi is conducting.

Unfortunately, my sister is visiting from Arizona that night, and just
that night, with her twin babies, so I must find a new home for these
tickets. Happily, I will also hear Cleveland (doing Ravel with BOulez)
earlier that week.

Cleveland is America's finest orchestra; I have a 3 and a half hour trip
each way from Massachusetts to Carnegie, and it is worth it to hear them
live. Let me know if these tickets are of interest.
