Cool... I can finally contribute to the list... :)

What kinda marching? Field shows? Parades?

In terms of posture, conciously keeping the head and instrument up as much
as possible will help with air flow and stuff like that, as raising your
arms frees up your body cavities and allows them to take in more air.
Playing clarinet in a concert-type-setting usually involves a straight
posture up and down the body, except for the head, which is tilted forward a
little to look down at the music on that darn stand (although this shouldn't
happen if you're the ultimate clarinetist). Keeping your arms and horn up
at beyond the 45 degree angle also makes it easier to get that chest up and
that back straight and that behind tight enough to hold a dime in. :)

Rolling your feet, heel first, toe last, will make sure that there's no
bobbing and stuff. It's tough, but hey, nobody said that marching is easy.
:)

For show marching, slides are from the butt up. Your entire body, minus
your legs should be facing forward. Once again, a painful position,
especially when you're running around doing something that is up there in
the 144 bps range, but with a lotta practice, you'll be able to get it down
with to an art. Notice that when you're starting, there should be pain in
the the shoulder that is pointing towards the direction you're marching
from. SERIOUS PAIN! :)

When standing at attention, again, conciously keep your arms and horn up.
Your elbows should feel like they're sticking out. They will in fact be
sticking out, but it makes the body look wider and it's quite impressive if
everyone's doing it.

Remember, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Get on that one
slacker and be generous with those pushups so that the weak link is better
than the strongest link in all the bands in your division!

Good luck!
