In the orchestra, I sit in front of the bass drum, consequently, I wear ear
plugs. In the big band, I sit in front of the drum set. Gives new meaning
to the term embouchure, since everything bounces forward with each beat.
Can't hear a thing, but I'm getting pretty good at holding on to my sax with
my teeth!
