Subject: [kl] Low D.
Dear List, I recently downloaded a piece off this site called Tico-Tico No
Fuba. It is great fun and thanks to all who made it available. I am
curious, though, that in several places a low D is written in the soprano
clarinet lines. I thought a written E was the lowest note possible. Any ideas?

Midi is always in C unless the setting in your software is set to transpose
the sound. You have to transpose the written notes up 1 whole step to have
it in Clarinet music. The low D is now E.
