I recently ordered an Eb reed from Guy Legere. What he sent was a Bb reed with
the butt end trimmed, as described earlier. It is magnificent. In fact, the
Legere reeds seem to do much more for me on the Eb than they do on the Bb
(although they still do a lot for my Bb!).

Interestingly, because of my confusion over his grading, I ended up ordering a
much stronger reed than I intended. Providence, I guess: I'm certainly glad I
did so.

Eventually, he hopes to have a separate line of reeds specifically for the Eb,
but I'm not sure why he needs to bother!
