Deduct a dollar (per sharp or flat) from your lesson fee for the lesson
in which they show proficiency on each scale (include major and related
minors - don't want to make it too easy.) Let the parents know ahead of
time. I'll bet some of those kids get motivated!

Transpose their lesson materials and some neat stuff into B or Db etc.
The motivation might come from wanting to play fun stuff...
