Jimmy Yan has replaced many A register tubes with B-flat ones including mine and it fixes the problem with the undertones. My teacher liked it so much that he's thinking of replacing a CUSTOM tube that's already in place with a B-flat one. Jimmy has done work for most of the prominent players in Manhattan and he knows what he's doing. Obviously, he has come up with a different conclusion on using regular B-flat tubes.
