I bought a Bay "Equalizer" (plastic) mouthpiece on eBay by mistake =
(thought it was one of his professional rubber ones). I've actually never =
played a plastic mouthpiece before. Anyway, I like this mouthpiece! I'm =
not sure about the "tone" quite but it feels and plays well and extremely =
well in tune. It's an MO-M.

Hi,
Anything from Charles Bay is expensive, but I think his equipment is quite
good! I purchased the Bass Clarinet necks from him, complete with =
mouthpiece
and ligature for our Selmer Bass Clarinets, (Low Eb Professional Models). =
I
also have a student who purchases one of his cheaper mouthpieces, (I don't
remember the model, but it sold for $90.00), and does really well with it.
He gets a pure, pleasant tone throughout the range of the instrument and
plays well in tune. I have another student who is playing on one of his
inverse tapor barrels with great results. I can't say that his equipment =
is
better than anything else, because we havn't tried everything else, but =
all
I have come in contact with seems quite good! (We also tried some of his
reeds and were happy with them as well). I can only imagine that his more
expensive mouthpieces should be great.

Hi I was wondering if anyone out there have had experiences with
Charles Bay mouthpeices, the ones that look sort of like Vandoren
two-toned moutpeices, what they thought of it, and the sound quality of
it. I just got the Mo--o one, so if that sheds anymore light....
thanks
