The Woodwind & Brasswind currently sells Grassi saxophones. From their
catalog:

"Ida Marcia Grassi and Co. is a private company which has been making
saxophones for 50 years. The small workshop where the business was founded has
been transformed over recent years to become a modern, well equipped factory.
The continuing success of Grassi saxophones in Italy and throughout the world
has established the Grassi saxophone as one of the world's leading brands."

Of course, it's possible that this is not the same Grassi as the one in
Langwell's or the one that made/makes flutes. Also, I can't speak to the truth
of the claim in the last sentence I quoted from the ad.

Best regards,
