As I remember it, it's not humorous at all. Peter Schickle wrote lots of
"appropriate" music published under his own name. The
"non-appropriate/funny" stuff was written under the nom de guerre of PDQB.
I thought his serious stuff to be pretty OK--he has to have some residual
talent to do all the funny stuff.
