one uses the term blink-ING as opposed to blink because debris in the eye is
much like those little Xmas glass balls which one shakes to give a "snow
effect". Therefore, moving debris OUT of the field of vision becomes more an
issue of luck ... the more blinks the better the chance of success at being
able to see through the debris.
