No, but perhaps I can confuse the issue a little!!!!

There were three different "releases" or "versions" of Fantasia.

The first was the original, with Leopold Stokowski conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Then, in the early 1980's, Disney re-released the film, but with a re-recorded sound track conducted by Irwin Kostal. I don't remember the name of the orchestra -- I think it was a pick-up orchestra assemble especially for this recording.

Then, a few years later, they digitally re-mastered the original sound track from 1939, and re-released the film with that sound track. This third version is the one that was also released on home video.
