Another problem, one that I've had myself (when I went back to the clarinet
after quite some time of only playing sax), could be that she's pulling the
third LH finger a little off the hole. In fact, I'd check finger placement on
all the holes - that's a very common problem for beginners and doublers, but
one that seems so obvious that you might overlook it.
