The other night a friend of my wife came to visit with an envelope holding an
unpublished clarinet duo composed for her many years ago by her friend Joe
Olivadoti,
a local composer. For reasons not clear to me neither she nor anyone esles
ever played
it. So while other activities were going on in the house, I entered it
into Finale (it's only
52 measures long) and played it Karaoke style for the crowd before they left.
So in this case, the Karaoke world premier has preceded the live performance
world premier. I haven't executed the live performance world premier yet.
I leave
it to one (or maybe two) of you folks. A Red Rose Polka, Duo for Clarinets,
by Joe Olivadoti is ready to be downloaded for your playing pleasure.
