The chemical that is responsible for somnolence following feasting
on turkey is called L-tryptophan (I think I have spelled that
correctly...).
And while on the same thread (for some reason), the potassium in
bananas is reputed to help with muscluar performance, although not
necessarily stage fright. Thus, one might have more control of
one's fingers and breathing, but not the butterflies in the tummy,
who have their own muscles!
