Don't forget about nutmeg to get high on. That was another goodie.

I must amend what I said because I made a mistake. When I went off at
Valerian root too, I was thinking of something else: St. John's Wort,
"nature's own mood equalizer." Again: for someone with depressive or
anxious tendencies, and who is being treated with antidepressants and/or
antiangst:-) medications, St. John's Wort will have at you like a
battalion of Turkish janissaries chasing Infidels. And you cannot
preduct what will happen: either you will get REAL depressed or you will
get SO wired that people will think you're copper-plated. SJW is
reputed terrific if you are NOT taking anything else. As to how it
works and plays with musicians and other performers, quien sabe?
