In my opinion and from my own experience allowing 4th, 5th and 6th
graders to play my Buffet, you CAN hear the difference between that and a
student horn using the same mouthpiece on each horn. AND it's definitely
better!

PS - My middle child did not like the Buffet - preferred her Bundy
because it was lighter. Go figure.
