I heard this same concert Friday night in Connecticut, and I had just as good
of a time. Beautiful Eb playing. Bass wasn't having a great night, though.
And how about Paquito's clarinet?? I had to strongly resist the temptation
to ask him if I could fondle it after the performance. Maturity won and I
settled for his email address. (Mostly to start hunting down his son's
arrangements for my own clarinet ensemble.)
I grabbed one of their CD's then, and will get the second as soon as I get a
chance. What a treat, all in all.
