I hope this is not one of those RYFM questions where the answer is
staring right at me, but I can't find the answer anyplace else including
Bartok references online.
I'm looking for the sheet music for something listed on the CD as
Bartok's "Six Rumanian Folkdances." They are absolutely exquisite and I
would love to try to play them. That said, Patelson's does not have
them nor does Frank Music, the latter of which is not even sure they're
still in print in this country.
I heard them on a Koch/Discover International CD with the tacky title
"Around Bartok," performed by a clarinetist named Fides auf der Maur
with piano accompaniments by Michiko Tsuda.
I take it that Frank is authoritative on this stuff, but Ms Maur got the
sheet music from SOMEBODY. Where could one look for things like this?
