Had you considered getting shoulder straps put on your case? My old bass
had
shoulder straps, and my double case does. It's a blessing especially when
you've got multiple other instruments as well. Also means less work for
your wrists. I had mine put on at a outdoors store - not particularly
costly, and it is pretty effective. Just another possible alternative.
