I am looking for woodwind quintet players from the New York City area, an=
d
figured I would continue my search here. I have posted posters at the maj=
or
music schools and at libraries, plus have put notices in the Village Voic=
e and
Loot magazine with no responses to the posts. I am looking for a bassoon
player, a flautist, an oboist, and a french hornist who can do pick up gi=
gs
with me a churches I get calls from on a regular basis (*I'm* the
clarinettist). Also, the players must be able to do recitals and concerts=
as
they arise (in other words, the players need to have a good sound and
read/play well *coming in* to this production, not be interning - ww quin=
tet
experience not necessary, but extensive ensemble experience is.) Any help=
on
finding people for an ensemble would be helpful.
