In a message dated 4/9/99 10:09:47 PM, you wrote:

<<he name of the sender is on every message - can't miss catching it>>

The reason I said that I wasn't sure who sent the original message is that I
had accidently deleted the original email before I had a chance to send mine
out. I actually did miss it and I'm not sure what you meant by saying "can't
miss catching it" I'm puzzled and it seems like a strange point to bring up.

<<There were two parts to the question, if you
remember - "who's the instructor at Duke?" (easy) and "can anyone
recommend a teacher" (not so easy). I _am_ suggesting that people do the
easy part themselves if at all possible.>>

So it would have been better for that person to only ask the latter of the
two questions? It seems to me a really natural question to ask. A very
large number of the questions asked on this list can be answered by doing
research on the internet. Does this mean that they shouldn't be asked?
