Too many variables!!! How much different would the beginner sound if you
changed the instrument ONLY, and left the mouthpiece/reed setup the same?
I am not saying that there would be NO difference, but it would be
EXTREMELY difficult to tell, and which one sounded better might well be a
toss-up in a double-blind test. I'm sure much more difference would be
obtained by changing the setup and leaving the instrument the same.
