You guys must never have been in a marching band. Toward the end of the
season the directors add more and more "horn pops" into the show. By
the end we had our horns up about the whole time. To make it worse, the
ww instructor got confused (obviously doesn't play clarinet) and told us
to keep our horns level to the ground. No wonder we had such intonation
problems on that high C we held out. Some people weren't even tilting
their head back. Can you say *FLAT!*
