Tim (and the list),

As a person who has had to do this before, let me say that you did nothing
wrong. Further, I am as guilty as anyone for letting conversations push my
buttons - something that rests with me - not others.

To the list - I apologize to Tony Pay for saying things out of anger - and
for not taking more time to try to understand his points of view better. I
believe my posts were guilty of what I implied to Mark he was doing - that
of getting personal because he didn't agree with me - so.....to Mark - the
same apology. While I was trying to be diplomatic, quite honestly, the
thing that was going through my mind was that of saying what I wanted but
covering my bases.....which is a waste of listserv bandwidth.

I have already written to Tony privately - and he may never respond to that
- but I told him I would apologize publicly - and I do so without
expectation for anything in return. I keep thinking of Jonathon Winters in
the movie "The Russians are Coming" when he states out of frustration, "We
just HAVE to get organized!" My statement - I just HAVE to get over this
reactive state of mind!

I hope this clears up any misconception from anyone about how I feel about
the entire thing - and how Tim should feel. Keep asking the questions, and
some of us, me primarily, will try to think things through - perhaps more
carefully -before responding!
