Jane,
a good G# fingering on the Eb(or Bb) is fingers 2 and 3 on the left hand,
and 1,2,3, on the right plus the C# key on either RH or LH depending on what
note you are coming from. Earlier this semester our orchestra played
Bernstein's On the Town, and 1st clarinet/Eb part had quite a few G#'s in
it. That fingering was very stable at most dynamics.
