I just wanted to tell anyone interested that I am teaching (almost) a
month long course in Siena, Italy this summer from 19th July to 14
August.

The format of the course is a standard one: participants present pieces
for discussion and evaluation, and this work generates examination in
the class of fundamental issues of playing technique and interpretation.
An excellent, I would say outstanding pianist is available throughout.

We work around 5 hours each day, and there are other courses given by
outstanding musicians taking place at the same time. I encourage
the presentation of chamber music with players of other instruments in
my classes, but in this particular course this mostly has to be
organised by participants on their own initiative.
