I ordered my LeBlanc Opus from the Woodwind and the Brasswind and it
says made in France on it.

Reading (rather belatedly) the discussion about the LeBlanc Opus and
Concerto instruments set off a train of thought leading to a question.
I've had the opportunity to play a couple of LeBlanc instruments
recently, an Ambience, which I didn't like very much, and an Infinite,
which I liked very much indeed. I was lent it for the whole of a band
rehearsal and didn't want to give it back, it was such a pleasure to
play. I'm seriously thinking of buying one, or perhaps even buying an
Opus which might be even better.

Now I've been following several discussions about instruments in the
past few months, and my experience with the infinite seems to confirm my
impression that LeBlanc, as a less "fashionable" manufacturer than (say)
Buffet and Selmer, is trying that much harder and is succeeding in
producing some very good clarinets. However, LeBlanc seem to design and
manufacture in the USA as well as Europe (France?) and I was wondering
whether an Opus, Concerto (or Infinite) as described by posts to the
list from the USA is the same instrument as an Opus, Concerto or
Infinite I might buy in England? I know that ultimately it's my
personal experience that counts, but all the same I would like to know
how relevant the comments I've been reading are to the products I can
buy over here.

Thanks in anticipation.
